Australian Blackberry’s

All Blackberrys sold in Australia are distributed through carrier channels, regardless of whether you buy it outright or get it on a plan. This streamlines the repair process if the unthinkable does happen.

If you’ve bought a Blackberry from Telstra or Vodafone, chances are that it’ll be software and hardware branded.
If it’s from Optus, there may be some software branding in the form of icons, but there will be no hardware branding.
NO BLACKBERRY IN AUSTRALIA IS LOCKED.
ALL BLACKBERRYS CAN BE USED ON ANY OTHER CARRIERS BB SERVER AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE IMEI AND THE PIN
(located on the side of the box).
